Forum Court is something created so forum disputes can be sorted out by the admins. When two or more members are having a dispute that cannot be solved with a simple report, then said members and one or more moderators/admins will listen to both sides of the story and look at the evidence presented to see which member will be punished and to what degree. (Keep in mind that both sides could be punished to any degree.)
How it works
Each "court case" is posted as a thread by the moderator/admin residing over the case and labeled as "Screen-name Vs. Screen-name." The screen-names that label the thread will be the two members that either 1) first got involved , or 2) Are the two that are still driving the dispute. If there are more than two members involved, the two sides will be named "The Screen-name Party," the name of the party being the screen-name of one of the two major member's sides they are on.
When starting the court case, the moderator/admin involved will send a personal message to all members involved, instructing them to come to the thread labeled with a certain name on a pre-determined date and time. Such a message will only be sent 3-5 times before those who haven't shown up to their court case will be punished on a minor degree. If you cannot attend to the date and/or time given, reply back or otherwise contact the moderator/admin and tell them and, if you are comfortable doing so, why. The moderator/admin involved will take your situation into consideration and modify the time and time to fit everyone's schedules.
To take someone to Forum Court, you are to do either of these:
Rules
Note that disputes can resolve themselves without the help of Forum Court, so please do not jump to conclusions that it is needed in every argument.
If you have any suggestions or requests regarding the modification or addition to the rules and/or process of Forum Court, you can post them here or at the "Suggestions and Requests" thread here: xenrismansion.boards.net/index.cgi?board=suggestionsandrequests&action=display&thread=1

To take someone to Forum Court, you are to do either of these:
- Report an individual, requesting to take them to Court. If a moderator/admin sees that they should take the involved members to Court, they will send all members a notice to come to the thread labeled with their names.
- Personally ask a moderator/admin to take someone to Court. If they agree, they will send a message to all involved members as usual.
- A moderator/admin can create a court case even without a request if they feel such measures are needed.
Rules
- Be organised
Nothing can be solved if there is chaos in the thread. Keep in mind that members should be talking one at a time and present evidence in the same manner. The whole point of Forum Court is to solve disputes in a civil and organised manner. - Be civil
As stated above, the whole point of Forum Court is to settle disputes in a civil manner. So none of this:
-Excessive cursing
-Prejudice
-Harassing - Moderators/Admins can be charged as well
If someone sees that two or more moderators/admins are arguing, they can report it and I will personally see to it that everyone gets fair judgement, friend or no. - I have every right
If I get into an argument with someone, note that I have every right to punish anyone on this forum, as I am it's creator.
Note that disputes can resolve themselves without the help of Forum Court, so please do not jump to conclusions that it is needed in every argument.
